As a boomer, this idea of "Quiet Quitting" is difficult to fathom. I have to believe that in addition to a reduction in productivity, there has to be a psychological effect when you are knowingly not doing your best. It would seem it would lead to a death spiral, not ending in death, but the more you work without doing your best, the worse you feel about yourself, then your baseline for "quitting" continues to drop. I would expect an increase in depression and a continued decrease in productivity and general morale. This isn't the mentality or spirit that built this Country.
