If you’ve been on the fence, this is the moment to decide. Because this isn’t a conference. It’s a room full of owners who are all in—figuring things out in real time, sharing what’s working and what’s not, and helping each other get better.
Here’s the plan:
Tuesday, May 12 (Optional Kickoff)
We’ll start informally with a walk from the Renaissance Downtown Hotel to Great American Ball Park, where we’ll take over the SkyBar to watch the Reds face the Nationals. Reds President and owner Phil Castellini will join us for a Q&A.
Wednesday, May 13
We begin with a get-acquainted session—who you are, what you do, what’s working, and where you’re stuck.
Then we head to a Triversity Construction job site, where Mel Gravely, my co-host, will give us a ground-level look at the realities of the construction business.
Dinner that night is at Mita’s, chef Jose Salazar’s nationally recognized restaurant.
Thursday, May 14
This is the heart of it. You bring the issues that matter most to you: marketing that actually works? Practical AI use cases? Growth decisions with real stakes? We vote on what to address first, and we dig in.
After lunch, we run a live 21 Hats Brainstorm. One owner takes the hot seat, and Chris Hutchinson leads the group through a structured, no-BS problem-solving session. We record it for the podcast.
Then we head across the river to Kentucky for a VIP tour of New Riff Distilling (recently named best bourbon in the world), followed by dinner at nearby Purple Poulet, where the husband-and-wife owners will join us to talk about their journey through an especially challenging industry.
Friday, May 15
We go deeper. More conversation. Another podcast recording. And then we head home—with new ideas, new connections, and, in many cases, a clearer path forward.
At previous 21 Hats Live events, we’ve had founders doing a few hundred thousand in revenue sitting next to owners running $200 million companies. That’s not what matters. What matters is this: Everyone shows up ready to be open, to engage, and to help. If that sounds like your kind of room, here are the details:

“I don’t know how anyone could leave this event without an insight, an idea, an inspiration, a connection that makes a difference. One conversation could have saved me years of grief.”
— Jay Goltz
Did I mention there are only three seats left?
